DIY Solution for Your Carpet Cleaner
There are many different options for cleaning solutions, you can purchase commercial cleaning solutions or make your own. You can make your own solution pretty easily using products you likely already have in your home using these ingredients:
- 5 Litres Hot Water
- 60ml Hydrogen Peroxide
- 1 ½ tbsp Distilled White Vinegar
- 1 ½ tbsp Dish Soap
- 1 tbsp Fabric Softener
You can also add some essential oils in order to improve the smell of the solution. Choose a fresh scent to freshen up your carpets.
For deep set stains which may require a little extra care and attention baking soda works well for both deodorising and removing stains. Sprinkle baking soda onto the stain and leave to settle for 10 minutes. Then mix together one and a half tsp of dishwashing soap, one and a half tsp of white vinegar and 230ml of warm water and once you have vacuumed up the baking soda you can use the mixture to dab the stain and remove it.
